What inspires you?
Doing my best to live a healthy lifestyle in my habits, movements, eating, relating to people and environment. This desire to live intentionally creates moments of bliss for me, where my body moves in alignment with my heart, mind and soul. That feeling of connection inspires me to keep going, even when life feels hard.
What brought you to RGF?
I’ve wanted to practice this sacred feminine art of dancing, allowing my inner Goddess to emerge for several decades now. She’s been waiting there patiently. When a friend mentioned interest in RGF, my inner Goddess just said yes, it’s time! Unfortunately my friend wasn’t able to join the classes with me.
What do you enjoy doing outside of the studio?
Outside of the studio I enjoy caring for my family and working with other families as they enter parenthood. I find fulfillment as a doula, herbalist and student midwife. If I’m not working or studying you can find me getting lost in the woods somewhere.
What is your favorite thing about pole/aerial dance?
My favorite thing about pole and lyra is allowing myself to be more sensual just for me while feeling my body engage in something new and challenging. This body was created to try all the things that make it feel good, alive and more present.
