1. Tell us something about yourself! What do you enjoy doing outside of RGF?
Outside of RGF, I continue to have a love of movement.  I am a group fitness enthusiast and often choose a variety of classes so as to learn from different instructors and become a more well rounded mover.  Additionally, I enjoy nature and am quite content with camping and hiking in mountains.

Also, I truly enjoy being a teacher!  I am nearing the end of a journey towards earning a Masters in Elementary Education.  I love what I do, and it feels great to contribute in this way.

2. What brought you to RGF?

I’ve always been a dancer at heart – I’ve invested myself in many styles including modern, ballet, jazz, hip hop, and more.  In fact, one of my Bachelor’s degrees is in Fine and Applied Arts – Dance.

RGF felt like an opportunity to expand my knowledge base of movement and to connect with others.  There are challenges in the apparatuses that RGF offers, which is great!  I appreciate how supportive everyone is.

3. What inspires you?

There are many things which inspire me – I may find phenomenal stories online.  Art, music, and creativity in general inspire me as well.  I also enjoy it when people work together towards a common goal in order to achieve something.

4. What is your favorite thing about pole/aerial dance?

My favorite thing about pole and aerial dance is the self expression and how the technique is like a mind/body puzzle.
