This month we’re celebrating RGF’s 10th Anniversary! In celebration, we’re featuring some of our longest members here at the studio.
Presenting Brigid!
What inspired you to join RGF a decade ago?
I was a gymnast in the past and was looking for a fitness program that would keep me interested and coming back. I hate traditional work outs!!
Looking back, what was your most significant challenge during your journey at RGF?
My biggest challenge in life seems to be finding time for anything. I have a crazy schedule (I work night shift) that makes it hard to do anything consistently. I really wanted to stick with this program though. It is the first time fitness has been fun for me since competitive gymnastics!!
Share your proudest accomplishment or defining moment during your time at the studio.
I have NEVER stuck with a fitness program, so 10 years with this studio is a big accomplishment for me!! I also think it says something about how great this particular studio is!
How have you changed and grown the most over these incredible ten years with us?
I have really had to learn to listen to my body. I tend to be a person who will just push through pain, a bad habit that came from gymnastics. This has lead to quite a few injuries in the past. This studio has taught me to be more in tune with my body and really hear what it has to say!
