Pole Fitness

Pole Fitness is an awesome choice for anyone looking to gain strength, improve flexibility, build confidence, and make lasting friendships. This is truly the workout that doesn’t feel like a workout!

Pole Fitness Foundations classes and all Tier 1-3 Pole Fitness classes are 60 minutes in length. Tier 4-6 Pole Fitness classes are 75 minutes in length. All may be purchased through enrollment in one of our Membership Clubs or by purchasing a Drop-In Package.

Due to the progressive nature of these classes, new students may only be permitted in our Pole Fitness Foundations classes, unless you have received an evaluation for placement in a higher tier. If you are new to Rising Goddess Fitness and would like to try Pole Fitness, enroll in one of our Foundations classes by purchasing our New Student Special!

Class Attire: We recommend wearing fitness leggings or shorts and a tank top to allow for the best grip on the pole. Class is held barefoot.

Pole Foundations: Absolute Beginner Level

Duration: It is required that students take this class at least three  times before moving on to Tier 1.  (60 minutes per class).

Whether you are new to our studio or curious about Pole Fitness, our Pole Foundations classes will provide you a fabulous introduction to both! The class will be filled with women just like you! With a focus on fundamentals, our Foundations Classes will cover basic pole holds, body positioning, beginner floor and wall elements, foundation level pole spins, and elegant accents. Come experience the amazing workout that Pole Fitness offers without actually feeling like you are working out! You are sure to leave with a big smile on your face, excited about your own body’s capabilities. No prior fitness, dance or aerial experience is required as we will start from the ground up!

Tier 1: Beginner Level

Duration: Students will remain at the Tier 1 Level for a total of 8 weeks (60 minutes per class).

It’s time to take everything that you’ve learned in Pole Foundations to the next level! Spins, accents, transitions and prepping to climb and sit in this tier will help build strength and fluidity to begin merging different skills into a routine.After 8 consecutive weeks in this class, you will graduate from Tier 1 feeling confident in pole fitness basics and having experienced a bond with your fellow classmates that will leave you excited to enter our Tier 2 class.

Tier 2: Advanced-Beginner Level

Duration: Students will remain at the Tier 2 Level for a total of 8 weeks (60 minutes per class).

Our Tier 2 Level will build upon the curriculum introduced during Tier 1. Over the course of eight weeks, you will learn exciting new spins, including the Chair Spin, the Back Hook and Carousel Spin! You will also be introduced to more complex spin combinations, allowing you to string multiple tricks together! Flow and fluidity will continue to be a focus in this level with emphasis on the dance element of pole fitness. Although we provide instruction on proper technique and form, we will encourage you to find your own unique style as you experiment with movement both on and off the pole. We’ll also refine climbing, sitting on the pole and prep for inversions!

Tier 3: Beginner-Intermediate Level

Duration: Students will remain at the Tier 3 Level for a minimum of 12 weeks and will require instructor assessment for progression (60 minutes per class).

Our Tier 3 level will serve as a very important bridge between the Beginner Level and Intermediate Level in Pole Fitness. In this level you will begin to see the world from a whole new vantage point – upside down! In this level you will begin to see the world from a whole new vantage point – upside down! We will focus on the refinement of basic inversions (which were introduced in Tier 2) plus experience some new inverts including Inverted Crucifix, Chopper, the Bomb and Outside Leg Hang.  You will also be exposed to fun new spins including the Hook and Roll, Pirouette Spin and Side Spiral Spin.

Tier 4: Intermediate Level

Duration: Students will remain at the Tier 4 Level for a minimum of 24 weeks and will require instructor assessment for progression (75 minutes per class).

Welcome to the Intermediate Level! You could technically continue to visit this level forever and still learn something new every time! This class will build upon the curriculum introduced during Tier 3.

During this level you will work on individual tricks and aerial combinations that include Pole Pounce, Apprentice, Inverted Thigh Hold, Basic Hip Holds, Leg Hangs, Butterfly and Flags from the ground. Every Intermediate Level class will include different content depending upon the instructor of that class so students are encouraged to try multiple classes!

Tier 5: Advanced Level

Duration: Students will remain at the Tier 5 Level for a minimum of 24 weeks and will require instructor assessment for progression (75 minutes per class).

Look at you, Superstar! Welcome to the Advanced Level! Similar to the Intermediate Level, students could continue to visit this level forever and still learn something new every class! This class will build upon the curriculum introduced during the Intermediate Level. During this level you can anticipate taking many of the skills you’ve learned in the Intermediate Level, up into the air. Students will also be introduced to individual tricks and aerial combinations that include Elbow Grip Ayesha, Brass Monkey, Superman, Jade Splits, Allegra and Knee Holds. Every Advanced Level class will include different content depending upon the instructor of that class so students are encouraged to try multiple classes!

Tier 6: Elite Level

Duration: Ongoing (75 minutes per class)

Congratulations and welcome to the Elite Club, the highest level in the Rising Goddess Fitness pole hierarchy! Although you have reached the highest level at Rising Goddess Fitness, do not fear as your pole journey is far from over! With your strength level at its peak, we’ll continue to master and refine the Advanced Level tricks while satisfying your ever-growing craving for more challenges. This class is filled with powerful spin combos, more challenging inversions and aerial pole tricks and combinations such as Ayesha and Handspring grip variations, Advanced Laybacks and Bridges, stamina-based pole combinations and elite-level flexibility tricks. Instruction will be even more differentiated at this level, with a focus on individualized goal-setting and progression. With an endless list of trick possibilities, this ongoing level will continue to challenge you week after week. Go ahead and show off a bit – you’ve earned it!

Elite Combo-Nation

Duration: Ongoing (75 minutes per class)

Build stamina, strength and creativity in this dynamic pole class. Designed to challenge you in every way, this class will have a four-week focus on developing a pole pass from bottom to top back down to bottom again! Class will include learning a base skill in Week 1, followed by learning an entry and exit sequence to the base combo in Weeks 2 and 3. The final week will be all about experimentation, including putting your own flair on moves to develop a sequence you can show off in your free dance.
